Texture and Consistency of Aqualogica Detan+ Sunscreen
This is probably my favourite part of the product.
The sunscreen has a white creamy (water-based) very lightweight, fluid consistency rather than a thick cream consistency.
It spreads easily over the skin and doesn’t give that heavy sunscreen feeling that some traditional sunscreens can have, and gives a Dewy finish to the skin
For oily skin, this kind of texture can be a big advantage because you don’t necessarily want another thick layer sitting on top of your skincare.
The formula also doesn’t leave the obvious white cast that many people worry about with sunscreens. The brand specifically claims no white cast, and I totally agree with that.
For me, the texture makes it much more suitable for daily sunscreen use, not only of oily skin but for all skin types, especially in warm and humid Indian weather.
My Experience with Aqualogica Detan+ Sunscreen
Now coming to the most important part — my actual experience.
The first thing I noticed was the fluid texture of this sunscreen. It feels much lighter than many traditional sunscreens and spreads easily.
After applying, it give a very light cooling sensation to the face and my combination skin doesn’t immediately feel overloaded with product. That’s particularly important if you already use a serum and moisturizer underneath.
