This word -“Shata Dhauta Ghrita” is all famous and anyone who is well acquainted with Ayurveda is talking about this cream, and by this cream, I meant the product, not brand. 

When I was looking for this product, Gaurisatva brand was kind enough to send me this product to try and review, and so I did. Shata Dhauta Ghrita is an ancient Ayurvedic preparation of clarified butter (ghee) that has been washed 100 times with water in a copper bowl. My Experience with Gaurisatva Shata Dhauta Ghrita Cream

Packaging

This Shata Dhauta Ghrita cream for comes in a 50 gms tub packaging with a carton box with detailed information on how to use it, ingredients, tips, etc. I love its packaging as it is easy to use and travel friendly. 

Texture And Consistency

Shata Dhauta Ghrita Cream has a creamy texture with a thick consistency, but nevertheless, is a lightweight cream that gets absorbed into the skin right away which gives a nice satin finish look to your skin.  

Efficacy

I have been using Gaurisatva Shata Dhauta Ghrita Cream for over a week now. I first wash my face with a mild Face wash then applied Kaya Toner and Deconstruct Face serum, then I applied this Shata Dhauta Ghrita moisturizer cream. It has a thick consistency with a no-greasy texture which blends well and gets absorbed nicely into the skin. 

Result

As you can see in the image, top right is before and bottom right is after use pic, in which it is very clear that how it changed my skin from super dry to normal. And when I apply it on my face where my T-zone is oily, it doesn’t feel oily or heavy after the application of this Shata Dhauta Ghrita cream. I apply it on my face and neck in upward motions and make my skin look soft, smooth, and supple and it gives your skin a tightened glow. Also, I love the satin finish look it gives to the skin that I no longer use any makeup before going out to my job.

To be honest, I was a little worried that due to its thick texture, it might flare up the skin but thanks to its unique preparation, this Shata Dhauta Ghrita cream has not even caused a single break-out on my skin. Even though, I have combination skin which becomes dry in winter, mostly cheeks, but it works well for both skin types, so I think I can say that this cream is a good option for all skin types. 

Even it claims to be a good option for all the skin types, be it- Dry, oily, combination, Acne prone and sensitive.

This awesome cream is also free of harsh chemicals and FDA, ISO Certified and GMP Certified.

Along with the Shata Dhauta Ghrita as a main ingredients, it has Arjuna bark extract, Ashwaganda, Gotukola Oil and Bakuchi Oil in its ingredients list which infuses the moisturizer with numerous benefits. can be also considered a good moisturizer from my experience.

I hereby conclude that Gaurisatva Shata Dhauta Ghrita Cream is bundle of hydration and moisture to your face. The hero ingredients of this face cream, Shata Dhauta Ghrita keep your skin hydrated, tightened, and even, and soothe the inflamed skin also. I am not sure about pigmentaion and anti-aging claims of this product but for hydrating, soft, smooth and firm skin, this Shata Dhauta Ghrita Cream  is spot on. This cream is suitable for daily use as it nourishes and moisturizes your skin, and Specially in winter, I really love this product.
